I have a special affinity for working with designers and architects. My background in corporate America gives me the knowledge and experience necessary to meet the business and product procurement goals you have for your client. My artistry allows me to see the design vision through your eyes.

Each painting is unique to your client. Design styles and trends, composition, hand-mixed encaustic paint palette, and custom made-to-size birch panels are integral to each original commissioned encaustic painting.

Together, we discuss every detail of your project: the concept and composition, the size and dimensions, the textural elements and color palette; and the essential timeline and logistics. Our dialogue continues until your commissioned painting is finished, packed, shipped, and installed.

The unique encaustic method of layering 50+ layers of pigmented wax, fusing with the low-flame of a torch, adding and redacting, scraping and marking, then layering again allows me to refine and adapt your ideas and suggestions into the process.

Start to finish typically takes a couple months to complete. I honor all artist-designer partnership agreements. I request the industry standard deposit of 50% to schedule and begin work on a designer-commissioned painting. This allows me to commit your client to my workflow, procure the special materials required, and repurpose my studio exclusively for your client’s artwork. The final payment is due at time of shipping. (Shipping rates are separate).
